A Little Word About Me

I studied Electronic Engineering at the University of Glasgow quite some time ago and from there, my desire for adventure found me at RAF Swinderby, learning how to do allsorts of useful things and just as many not so useful ones.

The Royal Air Force was then, and continues to be, one of the best organisations in the world for the pursuit of Telecommunications Engineering and it was in this field that I spent around a decade building on my university education in the fields of electronic repair, software engineering, satellite communications, cryptography, computer networks and much more besides. Its fair to say that these years had an enormously significant effect in evolving me into the person I have now become. This grounding paved the way and set out the strong foundations upon which I would go on to build my career and I look back on this time with immense fondness and gratitude.
